Can anemia be totally cured?

0

Anemia can be due to many causes. Iron deficiency anemia can be cured. For many hemolytic anemia there is no cure. Bone marrow transplant is being tried for some patients of hemolytic anemia and aplastic anemia.

Anemia is not a disease. Thus the word cure isn’t accurate. On another note, anemia is caused by an underlying condition. Thus, treating the underlying problem will resolve the anemia. Eg: Heavy menstural cycles can result in anemia. The treatment would be increased iron intake during those periods.
