Can all compressors be treated with the D technology?
Yes, practically all. Treatment yields the following: increase in oil pressure; reduction of clearances in the connecting rod gear (CRG); elimination of oval wear and taper in the sleeve assembly; and reconditioning of surfaces worn-out to 0.5 mm. Sleeve assemblies in oxygen compressors cannot be treated because the carrier lubricant is absent.
