Can a synthetic fiber wig be dyed?

Usually NO. You dye the hair because the materials in the hair is colored. For most of the synthetic fibers, there are nothing in it can be colored. But for some kind of special synthetic fiber made of protein you can dye.  Decent Wigs Co.,Ltd decentwigs@yahoo.com

Strange as it may sound, the answer is…maybe! Although synthetic fiber does not have the same ability to absorb dye as human hair, there is one product our customers have used that just might work. It is called, “Roux Fanciful Mousse” by Revlon. It is intended to be a temporary hair coloring for human hair, but has been proven to work if you have a light colored wig that you wish to dye a darker shade. This product does NOT have the ability to make a darker wig lighter, however. As with all of these types of suggestions, we must state that this is a “try at your own risk” type of thing, and we cannot be responsible for any unfortunate results. Always snip a small strand from the wig to use as a “test” before coloring the entire wig!
