I may be the belt. This happened to me once and I sold the machine in a yard sale for $5. the guy that bought it told me that a screw on the bottom of the tub came out.He said the machine works like a charm. Check the bottom of the machine to be sure it is all tight, and then try a belt. You can do this with out call a mechanic.
