When you purchase a domain, you should be aware of these important but often overlooked facts: 1. A Domain means your own website ADDRESS, such as www.thiscompany.com. 2. Buying a domain DOES NOT mean that you are a WTEdw.Builder subscriber with your own website on WTEdw.Builder. You still have to signup with WTEdw.Builder and build a website, and link your domain to your site. 3. Your domain will not be setup immediately. You will immediately OWN your domain name, but you will not be able to go to your browser, type in the name and immediately see it. This takes a few days, and is detailed more in this FAQ page, about setting up domains. 4. Creating a website (using WTEdw.Builder) called www.imcool.com doesn\’t mean that you own that domain. Many hot domain names are already taken. It is a good idea to SEARCH FIRST for the domain you want, and THEN build your site.
