The Linux kit was launched on May 22nd 2002, and is available for purchase in the following territories as listed below (prices are correct at time of update #17): • US & Canada: The North American territory is now sold out of Linux for PlayStation 2. As production has ceased, stock is now permanently sold out for North America. The US PlayStation.com store maintains a page about the Linux kit for informational purposes. Please note that the DVDs are region encoded; a European/PAL disc will be rejected by a US PlayStation 2. • Europe, Australia, Africa and the Middle East: http://www.linuxplay.com offer the installation DVDs and the monitor cable for €25 + delivery + tax as a small bundle. Mice, keyboard, HDD and NIC are no longer available. • New Zealand: The kit can be ordered from Sony Style stores; please call your nearest store to arrange an order.
