Are there different types of anthrax infections?
Yes. There are three (3) types or ways that anthrax can affect the human body, these are: “cutaneous”, “gastrointestinal” and “inhalation”. The cutaneous type of infection represents about ninety percent (90%) of the reported anthrax cases. Each is explained further, together with their symptoms, in the next question and answer.
