Are the Mandalorians a Cult?
First of all to answer this question we need to define what a cult is. The definition of cult that most people use is this: 1. A religion or sect considered to be false, unorthodox, or extremist, with members often living outside of conventional society under the direction of a charismatic leader. Other terms that come to mind when thinking of a cult are Jonestown and Waco, Texas. So to answer the question, No. The Mandalorians are not a cult. Firstly we are not a religion or sect. All Mandalorians have the right to choose whatever religion they wish so long as such religion doesn’t promote hate. The Mandalorians also don’t live in under the direction of a charismatic leader. The Mandalorians do have a leader called Mand’alor, but this leader is chosen by the people and elected into office.
