Are the Digital Media System products currently restricted?
The current product set has always been and will remain “open” for partners to sell. However, there is a New Product Hold placed on all orders which is used by the DMSBU to ensure that the DMS solution has been positioned correctly and configured to meet the customer requirements. After an initial 90 day grace period all partners will need to make the initial investment in the AM Sales Training, as well as pass the AM Online Assessment as a pre-condition for NPH to be removed on a non-complex order. Partners should also understand that DMSBU may further inspect orders that are very complex, and may require further training and/or engagement with Cisco Advanced Services before NPH will be removed.
