At present, in the UK, Segway PTs are only “legal” on property where the owner has granted their use. This means you cannot legally use them on pavements and roadways. Full details can be found on the Legalise Segways website. This will hopefully change soon when Electric Personal Vehicles (EPVs) are permitted to use public spaces (they will be treated like bicycles).
