Are Greyhound busses comfortable?
I took the Greyhound from Orange Co. Calif. to Dolores, Colorado and it was really fun. Good things to know: #1. If you don’t have a non stop bus you should find out where you will have to change and what time. (My bus had two transfers (one in the late afternoon and one at 4:00 A.M.!) and each only gave us about 30 minutes to change buses. #2. The bus driver opens the outside luggage compartment but you find your own luggage and get it out and drag it to the place where you are to catch the next bus so keep that in mind and use rolling luggage. I had a larger rolling duffle for both of us and then we piled the carry on stuff and sleeping bags on the rolling duffle so we could move it all easily and quickly. #3.The bus makes several stops at various restaurants and you can get off and stretch your legs and get whatever you want or you can stay on the bus. The bus driver leaves too so don’t leave anything valuable in your seat….it may not be there when you return. #4. The bus was real
