ARE GREENS ANTI-BUSINESS?

0

No, but we seek a different model for capitalism. We oppose the increasing centralization of power in the hands of corporations who are unaccountable to community and country. The Greens call for the decentralization of economic power. We believe that small, locally-owned businesses promote greater job growth, job satisfaction and are more accessible to community concerns than are centralized, often remotely-based corporations. Our current situation of ever increasing corporate power is threatening the American Dream. The Greens support the notion the what touches all should be decided by all, and thus oppose the status quo in which important decisions which support our communities are made from afar in boardrooms, regulatory agencies, and courtrooms largely inaccessible to the people affected.
