Are demat shares 100% safe?
When one buys physical shares from the stock market , one could never be certain of the validity of the title of shares. There are so many reasons , that the sellers signature did not match ,or the certificates were fake or stolen or they were forged. and so on. Demat shares solves these obstacles . Buying the shares in demat form always guarantees you as a good title aas soon as the settlement is over. The Rule 100 of the market regulator ,SEBI determines whether the shares delivered in a settlement are good or not .
