Bubble Bags are registered with The Harmonised System, which is a global system that classifies and describes products based on various criteria. The Customs Cooperation Council (now the World Customs Organization) created the system in an attempt to harmonise the description of products across countries so as to facilitate international trade. Bubble Bags have been reviewed and given the harmonise code 8421.290065 which classifies them as mult-task filtration systems. They are intended to be used for the filtration of plant material for food preperation.
