Are all Metro fixed-route buses equipped with bicycle racks? A: Yes.
NeighborhoodsQ: We don’t have a neighborhood association in my area. Can you help us get one organized? A: The City Of Madison has over 120 neighborhood associations. The Department of Planning and Development, Planning Unit, provides organizational and technical assistance to newly forming as well as established neighborhood associations. The first step is to contact Jule Stroick, Neighborhood Planner. She will describe some basic steps that need to be followed to become a recognized neighborhood association. In addition, she will be able to provide you with contact information for the neighborhood planning council (if one exists) and/or adjacent neighborhood associations that would be willing to work with your new group in the beginning stages of forming a neighborhood association. The Neighborhood Association Website also has a wealth of information that is valuable for grassroots leaders.
