After the first page of submitting a manuscript, Im told that there is a problem with an e-mail address I provided. Why is this, and what can I do about it?
Again, this occurs because, as soon as you click on a link to continue after entering an e-mail address on a page, Bench>Press immediately verifies the address. In the case of the first page of manuscript submission, the address is either a suggested or nonpreferred reviewer. On further pages, it will be the address of a co-author or a secondary contact for this manuscript. As stated above, be sure to double- or even triple-check each e-mail address you enter, whether a suggested reviewer or a co-author, to make sure it is up to date and entered correctly. The solution may be as simple as correcting a typo or may involve your having to find the persons most current e-mail address. After all other checking, if you still receive this error message, do not close the Web screen and contact the editorial office at editorial{at}hematology.org’ + u + ‘@’ + d + ”//–>.
