Zodiac killers solutions taken to the grave?
April 29, 2009 — During a scheduled press conference held at noon at the San Francisco Chronicle building, Deborah Perez, of Corona, California, claimed that the infamous Zodiac killer was her late adoptive father, Guy Ward Hendrickson. Furthermore, she stated that she had written some of the killer’s graphic and cryptographic letters herself — at the age of 7. Some of these cryptograms remain unsolved [warning: graphic content — 1, 2, 3]. Although Perez has turned evidence over to legal and law-enforcement authorities, her claims remain unconfirmed and have been disputed. The Zodiac killer, who often signed his name with a circle-and-cross symbol, taunted police and terrorized the Bay Area in the late 1960s, claiming that he had taken the lives of at least three dozen victims.
