No. This rumour started on the TV Tome page for Crossroads 2003 on July 8th 2003. It read: “At 10am this morning Carlton confirmed that they would be creating a ‘new’ soap based on Crossroads! The new soap which will hopefully start filming in late September will focus on a small village near Crossroads Hotel and I think I’m right in thinking this will be King’s Oak?
