Your name is Desson Thomson but I remember you for years as Desson Howe – why the change of name?
I started life as Desson Thomson but was adopted at the age of 6. I spent most of my life as Desson Howe. But in 2001 when I reunited with my estranged birth father, Alexander Thomson, I decided to reinstate my original name. My father and I had some emotionally fulfilling years together before his passing in 2005.
