Moved to Atlanta in 1995. My god brother was a producer and I wrote poetry. I wanted to write songs, and figured Atlanta was the best place to be for that. When I got ready to move to Atlanta, my godbrother told her to hit up and look for Babyface, LA Reid, people like that, and tell them that I wrote songs. Like it was that easy. But, I was inspired by Rodney Jerkins and when I found out he was at Hit Factory, I called everyday asking for him. He eventually called me back. He asked who I worked with and I told him nobody really, at the time. He encouraged me to hook up some producers because there wasn’t really anything he could do with me. A good friend of mine used to date Noonie, founder of Noontime Entertainment. She hooked me up with him and he put me in the studio with one of his producers, Eric Pittman. It was around that time that I met and built relationships with Jazz Pha, Bryan Michael Cox, Jason Rome, and Polow Da Don, who were all coming up in the game. How did you go f
