You send a Sitton spelling word list each week. What should we do with it?
Officially, we are not supposed to send home a word list for the Sitton spelling program. However, I have found when I publish a word list, the students do better in spelling. So, how you use the spelling words, or whether you use them at all, is up to you. One other spelling idea: I have found that reviewing incorrect words with your student is a big help. The Sitton program is repeating in nature: a word you miss on this week’s test will pop up again within the next couple of weeks.
