He had total occlusions of the right and circumflex arteries and at least fifty percent narrowing of the left anterior artery. He had had two previous infarctions, one of which was nearly fatal. His fibrillation occurred on opening the pericardium for a Vineberg Internal mammary implant operation. His blood supply apparently had been coming from pericardial adhesions.
