Yeah, but the real question is: would Roy McAlister, Hank Mauel, Lance McCollum, Mark Blanchard or Jim Merrill build a guitar for him?
I can’t speak for any of them, obviously, but I suspect most luthiers in the business would make the man a guitar. Regardless of what any of us suspect or believe about Michael Jackson’s sex life, the man is still a hugely important and influential figure in the recording industry, and anyone who handbuilt a guitar for him would almost certainly be assured of a subsequent flood of orders from Mr. Jackson’s associates and would-be associates.
