Yard waste collection ends Dec. 31?
Yes. During January and February, we reassign the men who normally collect yard waste to other duties. We’ll start yard waste collection again in the spring. Please do not put lawn and leaf bags and brush at curbside until further notice. What about Christmas trees? We will collect Christmas trees until Jan. 15. Yard waste — primarily leaves and grass clippings and brush — is sent out to a composting facility. Why is it important to remove tinsel and plastic bags from trees?
