Keep in mind that Mitus does not just make cars. They make a LOAD of heavy industry equip and are a huge company over seas. A radiator is a relatively simple piece of tech. Mitsu is not going to loss tech or money over selling this equip to others. GM also doesn’t have to use their own R&D, nor have the costs of manufacturing their own rads for the Uplander either. Mitsu will make money selling the product and GM saves money. The gains are on both sides of the fence and therefore do not hurt Mitsu, they actually help fund the company further.
