A PCP is a health care provider who specializes in the delivery of primary care services. The PCP is responsible for coordinating all healthcare needs for members. Your Primary Care Provider (PCP) will help you find a specialist if you need one. They can help you see any provider in the Children’s Mercy Family Health Partners network. If you need care from a provider outside of the network, a prior authorization is needed.
