Wouldn’t the creation of a Palestinian state stop the terrorism problem and solve most of the problems in the Middle East?
No, it would only create more problems, and foster more violence. The “two-state solution” is not a solution because the Arab nations have repeatedly rejected it. The two-state solution was presented 3 times in the 20th century, and the Arab nations rejected it as a solution. The Arabs have never proposed nor agreed to a “two-state solution.” They have consistently called for the “liberation” of all of “Palestine” from the Zionist entity. The entire nation of Israel is seen as illegal occupation and the Arab world will not be satisfied until Israel is eradicated. They instigated five wars with Israel to that end. Many liberals who call for a two-state solution are living in a dreamland. They are not listening to what the Arab world is saying. Even with the most recent disengagement from Gaza, there was not call among the Palestinians for a cessation of terrorism, but rather the call went forth for an amplification, an increase of violence against Jewish Israelis.
