Wouldnt MRPS encourage respondent non co-operation?
No. The sorts of people likely to register with MRPS are those who, by definition dont want to take part in Market Research anyway. All the MRPS will do is to provide such people with the means of ensuring that they are not contacted for activities that they do not wish to take part in. In doing so, the Market Research industry will at least be given the credit for publicly recognising the respondents absolute right to refuse participation in market research activities.
