Jailtime alone, does not really do anything – they will just go right on doing it when they get out. If you want to put them in jail, fine. BUT the BEST way to punish these corporations is to FINE them and make them pay anything up to 33% (1/3) of the profits they make becasue they used illegal labour. And if they dont pay – just charge an extra 10% interest compunded per MONTH They need to lose their profits and thus make it NO LONGER worthwhile to hire illegals.

1st…. Mandatory E-verify. 2nd…. Mandatory 1 year in prison for the first offense. 5 years for each additional offense plus asset confiscation.

Well if you want that to happen, then y’all had better get to phoning and emailing your Reps. Because the U.S. Chamber of Commerce is trying to have E-Verified killed so that it never goes into effect. Of course I support it. It is already a law on the books. It just needs constant enforcement.

I thought the laws already indicated that along with fines, as it is many just pay fines no jail, it should be both
