Would you recommend moving away for Uni, or staying at home?

0

If you have a university in your local area, there is no need to go away to one. Even going to a local college for your first two years will habituate you to college life and will give you some stability and experience before moving away to another university in your junior and senior years. I assume your primary goal is to get a good education rather than just to party. Being away from home while attending a large university can be a distraction for many students, causing them to do poorly gradewise. Even if cost is not a factor, those who go to smaller local colleges first are in a better position to juggle their many responsibilities later when they do move to another institution.
