Would you reccomend selling Avon at 12 years of age?
You don’t have to be 18 people, she’s right. If you have your mom sign for you than you can sell it. It depends on you whether you think you are capable of selling it. My friend started in grade 8 (3 years ago) but she now recently stopped because it wasn’t working to her advantage. You have to know what you will get for it. You get so much percent of what you sell depending on how much money’s worth of make-up you sell. (ex: if you sell under 120$ then you earn 10% [12$], If you earn $120- $214 you get 20%, $215-$319 you get 30% etc… plus you have to subtract the cost of brochures where a pack of ten are $10). It depends on your customers too, whether they buy a lot or not, and also from you, how much time you want to put into ‘spreading the word’ and selling. I also signed up a few days ago and also got a call for a meeting so I’m going to meet with the woman and then decide whether it is worth it for me. That’s what I would advise you to do too.
