Would you reccomend being a highschool foreign exchange student?
Yes, I went to France (put on some weight due to the great food) but had a fantastic time. Getting to know a culture from within is so much more interesting than just going on holiday. I have since worked for a year in japan too and now 16 years on I look back at my student exchange time as being one of the real highlights of my youth.
