Would you please explain how the deductible on the AutoSource extended service plans works?
When you purchase your extended service plan you have a choice. Accept our standard deductible of $100.00, or alternatively, exercise one of the following two options: a) if the dealer selling you the car has service repair capabilities as part of the dealership business, you can pay a onetime $100.00 surcharge and all repair work done by that dealer will not be subject to the AutoSource standard deductible. Please note that should you pay this “Disappearing Deductible” surcharge and go elsewhere for repair work, you would be responsible for the standard $100.00 deductible; b) the second option is to choose the Zero Deductible from the outset and never have a deductible apply to your vehicle repair work. This option is available for a onetime surcharge of $200.00.
