Would you have thought of michael jackson today if he had not die?
I grew up with the Jacksons and their music. I always liked Michael but I was not a big concert attendee. I also only liked specific songs of his (same as other groups) and did not buy CDs just because they were his. I have the LP Thriller but that is all. I liked his videos. I liked him and thought the whole pedophile thing was a set up, which it appears it was a set up after a confession by the young kid recanting his statement. I felt sorry for him. I cannot say that I thought of him every day. I don’t think of celebrities every day anyway. You are correct – he needed the love generated today in years gone by. However, from what I’ve heard, he didn’t let people get too close to him as they always seemed to want something from him. He loved that young man who died of cancer, and his family, and said to them that he loved them because they accepted him for who he was and never asked a thing from him like everyone else.
