Would you consider andrew jackson a good president?

0

Jackson was a political bully who got into physical fights with those who disagreed with him, ignored Supreme Court rulings (he famously said “the court has made its decision. Now lets see them enforce it!), hated Native Americans and owned Black slaves. In addition, his vicious attack on the Bank of the United States started the horrible panic of 1837 ( right after he left office) from which it took years to recover. No I do not consider him a good President, though he was better than both his predecessor and his successor and might be the only non-mediocre President between Monroe and Lincoln.
