Would you book into the Mark Warner resort in Portugal Madeline went missing from?
My parents had a house nearby to the resort in Luz for 10 years. I spent a wonderful part of my childhood growing up there making lots of friends. I was often out during the day at the beach and things without my parents and there were never any problems. Of course I wasn’t 3yrs old. My parents NEVER left us by ourselves where ever we were at that age, even at home in the UK. Yes it might be a pain not being able to go out for dinner with friends but that’s what you get when you have children, commitment and demands on your time and social life. I would go there with children, as it is a wonderful place to be for a holiday. It could have happened anywhere and if you choose to leave your little ones alone then trouble is far more likely to find you. It doesn’t have to be abduction to create trouble, what if your child was unexpectedly sick while you were out…they could choke.
