If your son or daughter is a member of the baseball team, Beta Club, band, or JROTC, for example, would you rather sell wrapping paper to help raise money for the organization, or would you choose to raise money without selling anything? I think the answer is obvious: we would all prefer to raise money without having to sell a product. Here’s a way to do it! Please obtain a SCRIP order form online or at LHS. (Ingle’s order forms are on a separate form!) On the SCRIP form is a list of more than a hundred vendors, such as grocery stores, restaurants, retail stores, and gas stations, with a whole lot in between. Beside each vendor is a percentage. This is the percentage of money that each of these vendors will give Liberty High School if gift cards, rather than cash, are used to purchase their products. For example, if you buy $100 worth of groceries one week from Ingles, then Ingles will donate $5 to Liberty High School if your purchase is made with a gift card. If you eat at Texas Roadh
