Would wireless adapter work with wired home network?
Most wireless routers are setup to also work with wired Internet cards. There are tow things you may want to consider. 1. The further away from the router, the weaker the signal becomes. 2. There is a problem with walls weakening the signal. 3. Wireless for games there is a latency (slow response because it has to go through additional circuits) problem. So when you press a button it might be a few micro seconds longer in response and (depending on what game) you might be dead.
