Would wearing high heel boots be appropriate 1st day of retreat?
It really depends. I think most women want to make a statement to bring about something refreshing in regards to them. Wearing high heel boots everyday wouldn’t make sense, but to occassionally wear them like on a special today (such as the first day of school) to stand out from the rest is a good idea. You know that the schedules will be off on the first day anyway – getting books, getting to know teachers, etc – it really is a fun day and should dress in a fun way. Plus too, it helps you set yourself apart from being just being remembered as plain person on the first day of school.
