Would US public support US military invasion of Pakistan ?
Pakistan with a population of 170 million Muslims is a very different proposition to Iraq and Afghanistan both with populations of around 30 million. Invading Pakistan would be a massive mistake, and would lead to a very bloody conflict. However if the Taliban starts to take control of the entire country it may be a good idea to take out Pakistan’s Nuclear Weapons Facilities and Nuclear Research sites, in order that the taliban would not have control over such weapons.
