Would this graphics card be good enought to play high quality games like Call Of Duty 4?
hi Sukhdev yes more than good enough,and along with the excellent Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 and 3gb of ram this should allow you to play call of duty 4 at some reasonable detail levels and resolutions as for the geforce 9600gt(512mb) it has some excellent specifications including a 650mhz core clock and 512mb of gddr3 memory running at 900mhz(1800mhz ddr effective),and along with the 256bit memory bus and the 1625mhz shader clock this equates to a decent 57.6gb/sec memory bandwidth looking at these specs the 57.6gb sec bandwidth is better than the 7 series card “geforce 7800gtx” which was the fastest card on the planet only 2 years ago one point though,is this p.c a factory built p.c or are you upgrading as if you are upgrading you may need to check if your current power supply is good enough and powerful enough to run this card the geforce 9600gt draws 95watts of power from the psu,so a 450watt or more should be ample however theres also the 12v rail to consider,even if you have a 600wa
