Would there ever be another slave trade?
The slave trade is ever with us and today is most evident in the sex trade industry. I found a link to a police file in the city of Munich Germany, in which a senior police officer of that city described the chaos at the Munich Olympics and that some 65,000 slave prostitutes had been imported to the city to be there for the period of the Olympic Games. Here in UK the government is preparing legislation to make it an offence for any man to pay any woman for the purposes of sex. The idea behind the proposed legislation is to try to put an end to the illegal sex slave trade here in UK. I doubt that it will work. All a man needs to do is to employ a girl as a housemaid. People have always found ways around laws which they do not agree with and this one is going to be shot full of holes on day one, I think.
