Would there be less nimby opposition to wind turbines if?
NIMBY is often more a state of mind than a rational objection. It doesn’t really matter what the turbines look like, but it does matter if their location effects your property value. The actual objection should be based on the amount of energy they produce against the amount of energy used in their creation and running. That however is a reasoned and complicated argument, that you could loss if you haven’t done your homework. Far easier to argue they are a visual Intrusion that threatens wildlife.
