Would the proposed land exchange affect village corporation lands?
No village corporation lands would be involved in the exchange. One township of Tihteet Aii, Inc. (Birch Creek Village Corporation) land west of the village of Birch Creek may eventually be purchased by the Fish and Wildlife Service, but only if Doyon first acquires that township from Birch Creek in an exchange between Doyon, Limited and Tihteet Aii, Inc.
