Would the Melitta MEP10T 10C Percolator make a nice gift?
Well, to the right person–yes! But not everyone, I’m pretty sure. For a real coffee connoisseur, they might appreciate a gift to help make some great coffee. To someone who is willing to put a bit of extra effort into getting a more tasteful cup of coffee, they might appreciate the percolator. But to someone in a hurry all the time, who isn’t one to linger over a leisurely breakfast of coffee and a full breakfast, well, they might not be as thrilled. I think most younger people would rather have one of the newer types of coffee makers, like a Kuerig or Senseo, than a percolator like their grandparents might have had. I’d say it’s kind of a personal gift. You need to know the person who your would be gifting it to enough to know their coffee habits and likes. It reminds me of going to a friends wedding when I was in college with another friend.
