Would my girlfriend have to take an access to nursing course to be a midwife in UK?
As midwifery is only at degree level now she would either have to have A-levels or an Access qualification to apply. It doesn’t necessarily have to be an Access to Nursing course, I did an Access to Health Professionals course to get into nursing & half of my class went on to midwifery. As long as the course includes human biology or human physiology, it’s generally acceptable.
