Would my computer configuration support nvdia 9600gt graphics card?
Memory is not a big deal on a graphics card especially if it is a budget one like you listed.they are not fast to use that much memory.512 mb is more than enough. 9600gt is much faster than 9400gt.you are comparing 16 cores with 64 cores.9400gt have 1/4 cores of 9600gt. so go with 9600gt 512 mb and don’t waste your money with 1 gb. other thing is that you need a power supply with one 6 pin pci-e power connector to use 9600gt so make sure you have needed power requirements. a good option for that 9600gt is hd 4670 which don’t need that power connector.it is little slow than 9600gt but not that much and you also don’t need to change your power supply.
