Would most republicans vote for a pro-conservative value, pro-american Muslim Republican over a white secular socialist?
Imagine a future election where this guy (link below) has served in the United States senate for a number of years and is now the republican presidential candidate. About US – American Islamic Forum for Democracy The man in the above link is Zudhi Jasser, a Muslim who appears often on conservative shows such as the Glenn beck show. He stands for conservative family values and supports the war on terror and is against Sharia law and stands proudly for the American military (he served in the navy) and American freedom and i assume he is pro-gun, pro-life and anti-gay. In this future election, he is running against Democrat Howard Dean…i assume we all know who he is. My question is whether Republicans would vote for a Muslim candidate, if he is pro-military, anti-illegal immigrant, pro-gun and pro-life…or would many of the Republicans vote for a touchy-feely, homosexual loving, Vermont socialist like Dean simply because he is white and presumably with a last name like “Dean”, has some
