Would Michael Owen be any better playing for Manchester United than at Newcastle?
Of course Owen would be better playing for Man Utd than Newcastle because he would have better players around him. However, I don’t think Man Utd or any of the top teams would touch him with a barge pole. He’ll never ever be the player he once was due partly to some horrific injuries he’s had. He’s lost most of what was his main strength…pace. To be honest, I don’t have much sympathy for him because of the way he left Liverpool. He was at his peak at LFC & he was idolised by the supporters and he kicked them in the teeth by thinking he was too good for them and he went downhill not long after. Serves him right….the greedy little prick!
