Would love to learn how to make Wine does anyone know were to start!?
The easiest way is to get a kit from a specialist homebrew shop, or from some large chemist like Boots. You normally ferment the kit in a 1 gallon glass demijohn with an airlock. The kit will consist of concentrated juice and a packet of yeast, and a set of instructions. The instruction is normally: 1. sterilise equipment with a chemical steriliser (eg Chempro SDP) 2. Put the kit contents in the demijohn and dilute with warm water, add any brewing sugar as instructed and pitch the yeast. 3. Put a water-filled airlock on the demijohn. The bubble passing through the airlock is a visible sign of fermentation. When this stops, fermentation is ended. 4. You may be required to add a tablet to prevent further fermentation (Camden tablets) Remember to keep the brewing temperature constant. You can get electric heated plates for this purpose. Sterilise all bottles. Be careful. White wines are not volatile, but red ones are, and the darker they are, the more violent the reactions can be, such as
